It is a medical fact that many of the discomforts of pregnancy are caused by improper posture. Hormonal secretions during pregnancy cause joints to slacken, thereby making it difficult to maintain proper posture without help. Other changes include vaginal pressure, hip separation, blood pressure on varicosities, etc.

The garment is a simple panty style with an extra triangular piece of fabric attached to the front of the garment by its middle point. The two loose ends of the fabric have hook velcro on their tab-ends for easy adjustments. This triangular fabric lifts and cradles the fetus in the womb while distributing the weight around the body. The pull of gravity is therefore limited and the so is the pressure on many veins, ligaments and internal organs. This results in an immediate feeling of relief from backache, stress and pressure on the kidneys, circulations, bladder and many other areas of the body.
